Kelly is seeking an experienced Senior R&D Chemist for a direct-hire (permanent) position with an industry client in the greater Milwaukee, WI area. This individual drives innovation by developing new products and providing technical support across departments to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead problem-solving for customer issues.

• Independently manage multiple projects.

• Expertise in formulation strategies (emulsions, dispersions, etc.).

• Coordinate with external manufacturers for prototypes.

• Innovate project delivery methods.

• Stay current with scientific advancements.

• Lead method validation and technical reporting.

• Develop new products to drive company growth.

• Assist in training and system management.

• Fulfill customer requests and conduct batch validation.

• Maintain lab records and equipment.

Additional Requirements:

• Detail-oriented with strong technical communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Office.

• Compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Ability to collaborate across departments.

• Proactive reporting of quality issues.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's in science or engineering (chemistry, polymer science, or materials science preferred)

• 3-5+ years in similar chemical manufacturing roles.

• Ability to oversee a small team (4 individuals).

• Familiarity with chemical handling and product development techniques.
