Position Description:

  • This position is directly involved in the overall maintenance and repair of highly technical equipment in an Industrial/ production environment. This position partners with business leaders to ensure production equipment needs are optimized.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on new and existing facilities equipment, electrical, mechanical, and computerized building management systems

  • Repair equipment and recalibrate as needed.

  • Conduct general equipment maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and repair

  • Manage 24 hour (Could be called in to help if need be)/ on off production equipment.

  • Participates in the establishment and improvement of new and existing process equipment

  • Maintaining process equipment bydeveloping/initiatingPM's | Documenting work using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS - SAP)

  • Work with vendors and parts management agency to maintain the correct level of machine parts.

Shift:

  • 3-12-hour days 5:00 AM- 5:30 PM Friday through Sunday.Additional pay is offered for the weekend shift.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Working knowledge and experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment

  • Ability to work independently, communicate status and deficiencies.

  • Maintain computerized records using current maintenance software.

  • Ability to interact with colleagues, customers, and vendors.

  • Interact and develop principled and positive working relationships with colleagues, customers, and vendors

  • Safety requirements are strongly enforced, requires you to be attentive to their own safety and the safety of others in the workplace.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required | Technical or trade school training in electrical/Automation controls preferred.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Associate degree with experience in electrical, PLC/Automation Controls

  • Knowledge of freeze-drying products through lyophilization, and high-speed automation

  • Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5s.

  • SAP and inventory control

  • AP (Electronic record-keeping system)

  • Electrical- Troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical equipment and systems | Working knowledge and experience in automation, vision systems, PLCs (programmable logic controls) and HMI (Human machine interfaces)

  • Mechanical | Repair and installation of pumps, gear drives, equipment, and preventative maintenance

  • Utilities | Power and physical plant maintenance of steam, compressed air, water, fuel, electrical, industrial gases

  • Packaging/Fill | Provide repair and maintenance of mechanized electrical and automated equipment.
