Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Seeking a day shift Distribution or Warehouse Manager responsible for the receiving, inspecting, and storing of incoming products; picking, shipment, and delivery of outgoing products; hiring, firing, developing, and completing performance evaluations for 5-10 direct reports; developing and implementing policies and procedures; working with a budget and generating reports; working familiarity of OSHA and DOT standards; performing inventory checks/audits; and communicating effectively and professionally with external customers.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming products.

• Pick, ship, and deliver outgoing products.

• Hire, fire, develop, and complete performance evaluations for 5-10 direct reports.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures.

• Work with a budget and generate reports.

• Maintain working familiarity of OSHA and DOT standards.

• Perform inventory checks and audits.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with external customers.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of distribution or warehouse management experience.

• Ability to drive teamwork, lead by example, and oversee 5-10 people.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

• Experience with inventory control systems and forklift operation.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Valid driver's license.

• High school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the electrical components industry.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

• Commercial Driver's License.

Work Environment

Small, older, family-owned mom/pop shop. The work schedule is Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm while training, eventually shifting to a 6am-2:30pm schedule. The environment is collaborative and supportive, offering a chance to work closely with a dedicated team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/hr.
