Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and physically fit Truck Unloader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for unloading trucks, handling heavy lifting, and ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of incoming shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload trucks and trailers, handling heavy lifting as required
Sort and organize incoming shipments according to company guidelines
Inspect shipments for damage and report any discrepancies to the supervisor
Maintain accurate records of incoming shipments
Assist with moving and organizing inventory within the warehouse
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed
Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Truck Unloader or in a similar role
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Forklift certification is a plus
