Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Slitter Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating slitting machines to cut and slit large rolls of material into smaller rolls or sheets.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate slitting machines to cut and slit materials such as paper, plastic, fabric, and foil.
Set up machines and adjust settings to ensure quality production.
Monitor machines and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
Perform quality checks and inspect materials for defects.
Maintain and repair machines as needed.
Maintain production records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand instructions.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to use hand and power tools appropriately.
Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
