Robert Half SEC Compliance Manager/Director in Elkhart, Indiana

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Accounting Manager/External reporting role in Elkhart, Indiana. The key function of this role is to manage and direct corporate consolidation and reporting, internal controls, and to provide real-time and projected results. This role is a part of the finance & operations team and is pivotal for income statement control, and analytics for a publicly traded organization.

Responsibilities:

• Consolidate financial statements including review, reconciliations, analysis, reporting, and disclosure.

• Manage the financial close of corporate entities including review, reconciliations, and analysis.

• Oversee SEC reporting including 10-K, 10-Q, proxy statement, 8-Ks, Sec16 filings as required.

• Administer the equity compensation program including software, administration, reconciliations, analysis, forecasting, and disclosures.

• Support senior management and department heads with ad-hoc projects and analysis as required.

• Establish, monitor, and comply with internal controls to protect assets.

• Maintain confidentiality of organization's information.

• Provide support and communications with both internal and external auditors.

• Develop and mentor the corporate accounting team.

• Strive for continuous process improvement and data automation.

Requirements • Possess a strong understanding of CapEx and its role in financial management

• Proficient in various accounting functions including financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis

• Extensive experience in auditing and the ability to identify financial discrepancies

• Demonstrated knowledge in compliance and corporate governance

• Familiarity with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and requirements

• Experienced in using D365 for financial management and reporting

• Hold a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification or equivalent

• Ability to design, implement, and monitor SEC compliance programs

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to oversee a team

• Ability to stay updated with changes in regulatory standards and SEC requirements

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data

• Capacity to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
