Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The role involves managing the storage of products from production to the warehouse using a stand-up forklift. The majority of your day will be spent picking orders for shipping, utilizing a cherry picker and RF Scanner to pick products and stack pallets. The work environment is temperature-controlled, well-lit, and clean, although there is a faint smell of inks in the building.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift to transport products from production to the warehouse.

• Pick orders for shipping using a cherry picker and RF Scanner.

• Stack pallets with picked products.

• Pack, ship, and label products.

• Utilize UPS Worldship and other computer systems for shipping.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a stand-up forklift or cherry picker.

• Experience in shipping and receiving.

• High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift Certification is a plus.

• Experience with inks, chemicals, or paint is desirable.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and temperature-controlled. The shifts are 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, with approximately 5 hours of overtime available each week. Although there is a faint smell of inks near the ink lab, most of the time you will not be in this area.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00
