Job Title: Repair Technician

Job Description

Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of FAA-approved temperature-controlled containers. Manage the warehouse and material movement. electrical troubleshooting, patch holes on cargo containers, and handle deriveting and riveting tasks. Deliver containers clean and free from defects that could affect operation and performance. Respond to technical assistance requests from customers in the area. Provide training and demonstrations of the FAA-approved Active Systems in the area. Document all work performed using CATS and WO system. Monitor stock of spare parts. Pick up and drop off RKNs from/to customers. Maintain the repair facility in a clean, safe, and operational condition.

Hard Skills

• Mechanical Aptitude

• Electrical Experience

• Assembly or repair experience

• Structural repair

• Aircraft maintenance experience a plus!

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Work Environment

Provider of cold chain shipping solutions for airlines, freight forwarders, and life sciences companies. This is a repair facility located at ORD. Pay will be $24-25.00/hr. M-F 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm. The warehouse is very clean. Not temperature controlled, but stays rather comfortable
