Industrial Maintenance Technician

Aerotek is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technician for a highly automated facility near Elizabethtown, KY. These positions are direct hire roles. 1st and 3rd shifts available, all training will be on 1st shift (for a minimum of 2 months). Pay ranges from $28.50-$37.50/hr ($1 differential for night shift) based off years of experience and/or certification/education. This facility is climate controlled. Job Details:

• Perform preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, troubleshooting and investigate issues or problems on automated equipment.

• Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical/electrical diagrams, and technical orders.

• Ability to connect wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replace switches and fuses, and splice wire, replace or repair belts, chains, or cables on machinery.

• Ability to troubleshooting and program PLCs and knowledge of robotics

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in an Industrial Maintenance Technician role or a degree /certificate in industrial Maintenance. (Industrial Maintenance Certificate, Journeyman Card, Associates Degree in Industrial Technology, Automation, or other related field, Robotics Certificate or Certified)

• Knowledge of electrical control systems, automation systems & manufacturing technologies including PLC programming, robotics, and vision systems and process control systems.

• Intermediate knowledge of Electrical Theory for AC/DC circuits, Motor Controls (VFD, Servo)

• Fundamental understanding of mechanical maintenance, pneumatics, and hydraulics

Education:

Industrial Maintenance Certification, Journeyman Card, Associates Degree in Industrial, Technology, Automation, or other related field, Robotics Certificate or Certified Preferred, not required
