Akebono Brake Corporation CMM Associate - 2nd Shift in Elizabethtown, Kentucky
Hours: 2pm - 10:30pm
BASIC POSITION DUTIES:
The CMM Associate will be responsible for the execution of tasks to ensure our products meet or exceed specified quality standards.
JOB DUTIES:
Operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine for precision.
Evaluate CMM/Part Inspection Data for accuracy.
Reads and interprets specification manuals, blueprints, templates and layouts for product specifications such as tooling instructions, tolerances and dimensions.
Conduct part layouts and capability studies to assure parts meet or exceed specified dimensional requirements.
Provide CMM and other measurement data for accuracy.
Ensure that precision machinery is in working condition and properly calibrated
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School plus 2 years Vocational Technical Degree or equivalent experience in Quality Field preferred. Pro-link experience preferred.
A minimum of 1-year experience in Automotive/Industrial environment in testing.
SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Working knowledge of inspection/quality principles.
Strong written/oral communication skills.
Ability to work in and promote a team environment.
Good computer skills.
Knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality System standards.
Knowledge of basic chemistry and physics in high or college.
Knowledge of basic SPC principles.
