Job Overview:
The Program Assistant monitors the milieu with patients, leads psycho-educational groups, and assists in the transportation of children/adolescents to IOP and Afterschool Programs.
Qualifications:
Required:
HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience working with children/adolescent population in a behavioral health setting
Preferred:
- B.A. or B.S. in psychology or social work
Scheduling Requirements:
Shift working, 12:00pm-8:00pm
Monday- Friday
Full-Time
Essential Functions:
Facilitate psycho-educational groups for clients in Child & Adolescent Partial Hospital Program
Monitor patient's progress based on behavior modification status system
Collaborate with the treatment team on monitoring and supporting patients achieve therapeutic goals
Assist with transportation of patients
