Well look no further, this once is a lifetime opportunity is here at the person Container Company Midwest. the person Container Company is an industry leader in the manufacture of performance-based brown box, multi-color display-ready and e-commerce corrugated packaging to some of the most well-known names in the consumer products world. We are in search of a highly motivated, self-driven Clamp Truck/Forklift Operator to join our successful team! We are looking for a motivated individual who can function in a flexible, fast paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on Safety, Quality, Integrity, Teamwork, Customer Satisfaction, Ownership, and Productivity. This position is responsible for contributing to the day-to-day functions.

Shift / Hours / Overtime

• This is a erd shift position that requires candidates to train on 1st shift for a minimum of 4 weeks

• Training Hours: 1st shift | 5:45 am - 2:00 pm (Mon - Fri)

• Regular Hours Once Trained: 10pm - 630amm (Mon - Fri)

• 8 hour days but the person would like everyone to work 10 hour shifts once they start operating at 100%

• Candidates will be able to work 50-hour weeks!

Position Overview:

• The Clamp Truck/Forklift Operator is responsible for the movement of Rolls from various areas including trucks and the warehouses to the corrugator for consumption.

• The Operator will be able to recognize and correct or report any safety, quality or production issues utilizing the means and tools provided.

• This is a full hands-on position with limited supervision that requires initiative and a self-driven approach.

• It is the expectation is to follow instructions and work constructively to ensure shipment deadlines are met and unloading is conducted within the guidelines given.

• This position is responsible for following all safety procedures and having the courage to intervene when observing unsafe practices by co-workers.

• This position is also responsible for a high level of quality, productivity, and attention to detail.

• The operator will be in contact with the operators, superintendents, shipping department, and with customer service.

• The operator needs to assure that loads are accurate and damage free.

• All incoming loads will have to be off loaded in a timely manner and put into the correct location.
