Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable being on their feet for the entirety of the day, have strong attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to work well with others. This role involves a 12-step process where contractors will be cross-trained in various areas, ensuring a versatile skill set.

Responsibilities

• Receiving - documenting what is received

• Factory Reset - manual press of a button

• Automatic Test (Plug In) - plugging in up to 32 units to determine what needs to be repaired (cycle times 60-90 minutes)

• Wi-Fi Test

• Elevated Test - temperature test

• Cosmetic Clean

• Cosmetic Repair

• In Process Quality Control (IPQC)

• Kitting

• Pack Out/Pallet Build - palletizing for AT&T in kits

• Shipping

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Comfortable being on feet for the entire day

• Ability to work well with others

• Willingness to be cross-trained in various areas

• Hand dexterity

• Punctuality

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with assembly, packing, retail, repair, and refurbishing

• Proficiency in quality inspection and general labor

• Ability to use soldering tools, test equipment, RF scanner, computer, blueprints, and power tools

Work Environment

Our brand new facility is specifically built for our operations. It includes a locker area and a cafeteria equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. The site is conveniently located near gas stations and restaurants, just half a mile north of 90 and south of 72, right off Randall Road in Elgin, IL.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
