Job description
MANDATORY DUTIES : Establish, control, and improve existing injection molding and assembly processes Understand and follow ALL safety procedures for plastic injection molding Validate process development efforts and interaction with part quality Provide feedback to appropriate leaders for follow-up as necessary Communicate closely with management team members regarding all aspects of process control Adhere to quality system requirements and a focus on continuous improvement in relationship to our process set-ups and their maintenance Collaborate with Quality Assurance department to maintain high quality standards and eliminate process deviations and non-confirming products Responsible for maintaining high employee morale and strong ethical standards Work under general supervision Perform other tasks / projects as necessary to aid the company policy Ability to setup and hang mold/tools for new production runs, manage resin drying, compensate machine parameters in process Ensure a clean, organized and safe work environment at all times Extensive knowledge and experience in processing engineering grade resins Identify and elevate tool, equipment, and other infrastructure needs to management Identify tooling deficiencies during preventative maintenance and notify management Maintain and follow quality control procedures Maintain production and on-time schedules Participate in root-cause analysis of tooling breakage and/or damage to assess corrective actions Ensure machines and robots are running at optimum efficiency Report to Production Supervisor any difficulties or problems requiring special attention Responsible for the accurate completion of Process Verification, Tool/Maintenance Reports as required Ensures proper care of all equipment especially the managing and proper disposal of all purgings Responsible for continuous improvement (ideas and suggestions) Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations Ability to learn and comprehend Microsoft Office applications Strong communication skills, including technically with various departments Required to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature Follow systems for TS16949 and ISO14001REQUIREMENTS
