Eaton Corporation Master Production Scheduler (Switchboards) in El Paso, Texas

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Master Production Scheduler (Switchboards) in El Paso, TX.

The Master Scheduler is responsible for planning and coordinating schedules of customer orders and inventories to ensure the efficient operation of the plant. In this role, you will create and implement schedules for the plant's production and manufacturing needs and work closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the projects lifecycles. The Master Scheduler also is responsible for providing post-order support to customers.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

  • Create accurate short-term and long-term production schedules.

  • Ensure production teams meet deadlines and enforce schedules.

  • Manage multiple production schedules simultaneously.

  • Optimize production workflow and performance.

  • Responsible of the schedule attainment and to develop corrective action with stakeholders.

  • Use inventory control to maintain accurate inventory of raw and finished goods, and to coordinate interdepartmental activity.

  • Communicate effectively with people internally and with other departments to ensure everyone is on the same page and the schedule is being followed and executed.

  • Analyze MPS reports (co line items, schedules, release simulation)

  • Confirm that schedules with due dates for the next 5 days are complete or a firm due date for material shortage is available.

  • Manage and explain the OTP hits, root causes and actions to mitigate.

  • Schedule production process for rework product.

  • Provide the plant with a weekly production plan consistent with the plant capacity and sales forecast.

  • Create a rolling 4-weeks master production plan for the product lines assigned.

  • Develop strategies and collaborate with operation teams on capacity & equipment utilization.

  • Verify orders are properly scheduled in our MRP/ERP systems, resolve scheduling conflicts, and maintain the data integrity of the Switchboard Assembly master schedule.

  • Provide timely communication to both internal and external customers related to order status including advance warnings of shipping delays, shipment confirmations and rescheduling notices.

  • Make decisions related to production priorities and expedites based on the overall business and customer needs.

  • Adjust forecasted daily and weekly capacity and product mix.

  • Report on Switchboard orders including scheduled units/dollars and actual versus quoted lead times.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and/or Operations required.

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Planning required.

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering or Supply Chain from an accredited institution

  • Previous Engineering to Order (ETO) experience

Skills:

Proficient with Excel and SharePoint

Experience with MRP/ERP systems

Experience with Eaton systems: Vista, Bid Manager, Plant Order Manager, Mentor, and AS400
