Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk role in El Paso, Texas. The chosen candidate will be a part of a dynamic team in the healthcare industry. This role will include various responsibilities related to inventory management and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inventory checks on all stocking units on nursing floors to ensure accurate counts

• Utilize an automated system to verify counts and manage inventory

• Prepare and distribute a pick list of supplies and restock service stations on various floors

• Carry out the preparation, distribution, and control of supplies and selected equipment for patient care use in the hospital

• Handle requests for service in an accurate, prompt, and detail oriented manner

• Utilize data entry skills to maintain accurate records and manage asset inventory

• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures regarding inventory management

• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and stay updated with industry trends. Requirements • Proficient in data entry tasks

• Experience or familiarity with asset inventory

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items when necessary

• Good communication skills

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of consistency

• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays if required

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
