Major/Essential Functions:
Provides clinical services and teaching of diagnostic radiology
Interprets x-rays in all modalities of diagnostic radiology
Mentors and instructs residents, fellows, and medical students in research projects, as requested or assigned by department chair
Lectures and hold conferences and participates in related meetings and school functions
Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship
Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance, such as committee work and other administrative duties
Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission
Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine’s Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
Upholds and promotes the values-based culture of TTUHSC El Paso

Required Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. degree
Texas Medical Licensure, or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas
Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in diagnostic radiology or meets the prerequisites for application to the American Board of Radiology’s Alternate Pathway for International Medical Graduates
Training and experience in all imaging modalities
