Eaton Corporation Human Resource Coordinator in El Paso, Texas

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Human Resource Coordinator in El Paso, TX.

The Human Resource Coordinator will perform tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations for the HR Team. The applicant must have analytical and basic computer and problem-solving skills, the ability to successfully project manage and a high level of professionalism to interact with the employee population.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

  • Leads recruiting efforts for employee outreach and branding in the El Paso area (i.e. job fairs, communications, local events)

  • Manage relationships with college campus’, business’ in the surrounding areas, health vendors, and wellbeing programs

  • Can represent the company in a professional manner with excellent phone, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Assistance with time and attendance reporting (Kronos)

  • Assisting with the hiring and interview scheduling of candidates

  • Responsible for preparing new employee orientation materials and setting up conference room for orientation (i.e., welcome emails, swag, I-9 verification, orientation, new hire paperwork, badge creation, etc.)

  • Maintain the internal and external communications platforms (i.e. social media platforms, all employee meetings, newsletter, SharePoint page, policy posters, and internal company and leadership updates)

  • Partnering with the Administrative Assistant to create and deliver fun and engaging internal staff events

  • Develop and implement employee engagement committees/programs

  • Responsible for helping employees with daily requests, including but not limited to password reset, annual benefit enrollment, other corporate initiatives, etc.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Associate's (or 2 year) degree from accredited institution required.

  • Five (5)+ years of professional work experience required.

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual - English/Spanish

  • Computer skills (i.e. Microsoft suite, Outlook, etc.)

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in HR capacity

Skills:

  • Proven history of safe work habits and good attendance.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision.

  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
