Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler

Job Description

We are searching for the right person to join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company as a Warehouse Associate. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing inventory, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment

• Fulfill product order invoices

• Unload material from incoming trucks

• Load products onto delivery trucks for shipping

• Assist with maintaining equipment, including cleaning out production equipment and lines

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Essential Skills

• Willingness to clean areas and assist in various tasks (sweeping floors, helping out, getting things ready for the next day)

• Ability to read and match SKU numbers and work orders accurately

• Familiarity with computer and inventory software preferred

• Ability to regularly stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, stack, lift, and walk for long periods of time

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operation (80% of time)

Work Environment

Warehouse production environment with exposure to heat, cold, humid conditions, and dust. Minimum 42.5 hours per week, with additional OT as needed. Typical schedule is between 6 am & 5 pm, Monday - Friday.
