Production Control Associate

$26 - $29 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Control Associate responsible for managing production order releases and maintenance, handling MRP messages, creating and maintaining trackers and milestones, and reviewing production schedules and plant capacity data to determine necessary processes, tools, and machines. The role involves planning all stages of product operations, modifying schedules to handle unexpected delays, and monitoring and controlling all material movements to maintain the integrity of production schedules. The candidate will work closely with operations and support teams, including quality, production, engineering, planning, and purchasing, to ensure efficient workflow and communication.

Responsibilities

• Release and maintain production orders.

• Handle MRP messages and create/maintain trackers and milestones.

• Review production schedules and plant capacity data to determine necessary processes, tools, and machines.

• Plan all stages of product operations.

• Modify schedules to handle unexpected delays.

• Monitor and control all material movements to maintain production schedules.

• Review production specifications and plant capacity data.

• Keep management informed of critical issues.

• Collaborate with operations and support teams to close communication gaps.

• Work closely with MRP system to create and manage reports.

• Read and interpret blueprints to communicate production standards.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret documents.

• 2 years of experience in a production planning capacity with manufacturing and production control experience, preferably in an aerospace environment.

• Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

• Strong understanding of MRP systems.

• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as waterfall charts and trackers.

• Critical understanding of material traceability.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
