Robert Half is hiring for a dedicated Collections Specialist to help us recover outstanding debts owed to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in collections, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service. This position will initially be on a contract basis with the opportunity for permanent employment based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Contacting customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding debts

• Managing a portfolio of accounts and prioritizing collection efforts

• Documenting all collection activities and maintaining accurate records

• Collaborating with other departments to resolve customer issues and disputes

• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients

• Meeting or exceeding collection targets and goals set by management

  Requirements

• Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collections software

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing collections practices
