What will you work on

You will lead the data governance and data compatibility activity for all data that is produced in and around our products and solutions.

On any given day on the job, you may:

  • Help teams across the organization to align on data semantics, ontology, and data lifecycles and own the data definition.

  • Drive and monitor IP, regulatory compliance and legal aspects of the data.

  • Provide guidance on software architecture choices across our solutions from a data perspective.

  • Work in a global team, building strong relationships with partners across the organisation.

  • Travel for internal and/or external meetings or conferences.

Who do we look for

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a multi-cultural, collaborative high-tech software environment.

Besides that, you have:

  • Academic education (MSc degree), preferably in data science or software engineering.

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in hands-on designing data solutions.

  • Detailed data management knowledge, with a focus on data modelling through the life cycle and emerging data technologies (databases and microservices related).

  • Good communication skills in English.

  • Proactive attitude, influencing skills, agile mentality.

  • Evangelization skills, driving standards/governance across teams & sites across Europe and USA.
