Atlas Metal Conversion Milling Machine Operator in EIGHTY FOUR, Pennsylvania
We are seeking an experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust milling machines to produce parts within specified tolerances.
- Select appropriate tooling and cutting speeds for each job.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Milling Machine Operator.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of different types of milling tools and their applications.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to machinery.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or training in machine operation is a plus.
