Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce technologies, a proven track record of delivering successful Salesforce projects, and the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, stakeholders, and business leaders.
As the Salesforce Architect, you will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver high-quality Salesforce applications that drive business success. You will be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and efficient architectures to meet business requirements while adhering to Salesforce best practices.
Key responsibilities:
Ownership of high level strategic functional design and delivery of solutions to clients. Create key architecture documentation and deliverables.
Lead and manage Salesforce projects, including customizing Salesforce solutions, integrations with other systems, and overall technical strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to define requirements and ensure solutions align with business goals.
Conduct thorough assessments of business processes to determine Salesforce solution requirements.
Provide architectural guidance on Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and integrations.
Oversee data migration, integration, and synchronization between Salesforce and third-party systems.
Ensure optimal performance and user experience for all Salesforce applications.
Review and enforce best practices for Salesforce development, including code quality, scalability, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the Salesforce platform.
Stay up to date with Salesforce platform updates and industry trends and integrate new features when applicable.
Update management team on overall project, risks, and technology issues and propose suitable alternatives.
Develop Train-the-Trainer materials.
Required Skills
Must Have Skills:
Salesforce Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce core products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.), architecture, data models, and configuration.
Apex & Visualforce Development: Advanced experience in developing custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
Integration Experience: Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs, RESTful services, middleware (like MuleSoft), and ETL processes.
Salesforce Architecture & Design: Strong understanding of multi-org strategies, data governance, and enterprise architecture principles.
Data Modeling & Security: Experience designing data models in Salesforce and applying security best practices (roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules).
Salesforce Lightning: Experience in designing and implementing solutions using Salesforce Lightning components and frameworks.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues and ensuring platform stability.
Leadership & Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior developers to adhere to best practices.
Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, especially for large-scale Salesforce projects.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have skills:
Salesforce Certifications: Additional certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect.
DevOps & Automation Tools: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Salesforce DX, and other automation tools.
Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Project Management Skills: Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
Experience in Other CRM Systems: Knowledge of other CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, etc.) or enterprise platforms.
Business Process Knowledge: Understanding of business processes, particularly in sales, customer service, and marketing domains.
Participation in each phase of at least five full Salesforce lifecycle implementations.
