Now we are looking to hire a Class 1 driver in Edmonton, Alberta

About the position:

The Class 1 Driver is responsible for Hauling daily freight from Edmonton distribution center to Fort McMurray Oilsands customer.

Wage : $ $28.31 per hour + $1.00 per hour premium for hauling flat deck.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Dispatching time: between 11:30 pm and 3:30 am. Monday to Friday.

About the position:

• Great Pay: Average $75K to $85k/YR!

• PTO Policy : 10 days of paid time off in your first year (in addition to regular vacation pay).

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 9 months or more experience in a driving position.

• Flatbed experience is preferred.

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License.

• Able to drive Manual Transmission truck.

• Highly thorough and dependable.

• Punctuality and good attendance record.

• Work using health and safety methods.

• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

• Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
