Job Overview
The TE Connectivity Industrial Filters Subvertical has an opportunity available for a Project Manager in our Edison, New Jersey office. The Filters Subvertical provides Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Filters and Power Quality solutions to customers in the Industrial Automation and Electrification market space.
TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Manager is responsible for the management of cross functional teams supporting new product development projects. The successful candidate will work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. The Project Manager is responsible for defining and creating project schedules and ensuring project tasks are executed per that schedule. The Project Manager is also responsible for identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution of those constraints. The Project Manager is expected to adhere to the LEANPD process – a well-defined stage gate process that governs the execution of new product development projects within TE. This includes regular presentations to the Filters Subvertical’s Project Approval Committee (PAC) consisting of members of the Filters senior leadership team.
This role will report in to the Engineering Lead in our Edison, USA location. This is a hybrid position working approximately 3 days in office and 2 days from home, depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage NPD projects following the LEANPD process, with a focus on launching new products on time
Maintain project data in TE Project to achieve Industrial Business Unit data integrity goals
Ensure project progress and deliverables are achieved across all business functions to ensure compliance with LEANPD Stage Gate process
Work with project core teams to develop a project schedule and drive the project to meet that schedule
Work with the project core teams to develop a project budget and drive the project to meet that budget
Work with Industrial Engineering to develop project P&Ls and CERs to support capital expenditures
Update/communicate status of projects to Project Approval Committee (PAC)
Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Finance and Operations to make sure committed New Product Sales (NPS) are achieved
Potentially contribute to or lead overall continuous improvement initiatives to address systemic issues in the new product development process
What your background should look like:
5+ years related experience managing projects in a manufacturing setting.
Bachelor's degree in engineering related field or equivalent.
PMP certification strongly preferred
Ability to manage a US-based product team with key stakeholders based in regions outside of US
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong stakeholder management skills
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $116,500 - $174,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
