Job Summary
Responsible for recruiting process for exempt level positions across multiple corporate functions and/or manufacturing locations as assigned. These positions require GAF business knowledge and require an in-depth technical understanding of process /project/R&D experiences to fill critical hard-to-fill positions. This is achieved through the development of employing sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative HR solutions.
Essential Duties
As a senior member of a larger recruitment organization, demonstrate leadership, mentor peers and junior staff, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Direct and manage full-cycle recruiting efforts including talent sourcing, candidate evaluation & screening, interview process, offer negotiations, closeout process, and new hire onboarding
Leader of a consultative recruiting planning session with key stakeholders to establish expectations, timelines for the recruiting process and create the desired candidate profile
Develop sourcing strategy and establish desired communication protocol with the hiring manager and HR team
Experience managing professional level requisitions (15+ open requisitions) in multiple locations
Participate in our Career Fair events with a special emphasis on enhancing our Diversity & Inclusion initiatives (Women, Minorities, Military, and Disability)
Passive recruitment – source, evaluate and qualify top talent utilizing Applicant Tracking System/CRM, Internet Databases, and Social Media Platforms.
Lead unique staffing initiatives that may include searches for niche/emerging technological skillsets at all levels of recruitment
Pipeline Development – Build strategic relationships with local professional groups and affinity organizations.
Identify and leverage alternative sourcing methods
Develop and utilize tools to manage candidates in the pipeline and effectively track candidates collected through various sources to measure the effectiveness of sources.
Build, maintain and manage a well–developed network of candidates and /core skills to build a network quickly and comprehensively
Proactively research emerging talent trends and identify linkages to the GAF strategic business direction
Identify competencies required for each position. Use sourcing mechanisms that will attract candidates through the use of the internet job boards and niche sites, job fairs, college campus recruiting, agencies, and non-traditional sources
Qualify candidates based on job requirements, and apply behavioral-based interviewing techniques to assess knowledge and cultural fit
Work with hiring managers to identify the interview team as well as the behavioral-based competencies and interview questions that will be used for the interview process
Conduct interviews and facilitate the debrief session to make the final candidate selection
Upon selection, recommend and extend offers to candidates, work with the hiring manager, HR Business Partner, and Compensation Partners to review compensation data for offers. Coordinate all pre-employment checks and on-boarding processes
Conduct applicant tracking for filled positions
Assess talent and make hiring recommendations
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
Serve as an integral part of the GAF team and as brand champion
Strong experience developing and executing proactive sourcing strategies

Professional, organized, strong communications and presentations skills, ability to work within a fast-paced environment and develop relationships across the organization
Solid technical understanding of business processes and manufacturing practices
Consistently meet the performance metrics as defined by the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition
Provide reporting and regular status updates to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, and hiring manager as required.
Lead the gathering and analysis of marketplace data related to the labor market, competitors hiring trends, new sourcing avenues, etc.
Supervise interviewing, testing/assessments, and hiring processes to ensure adherence with all equal employment opportunity (EEO) legislation, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), veteran’s hiring guidelines, and other government OFCCP compliance requirements

Coordinate and implement College Recruiting Initiatives for summer interns and Co-ops
Coordinate attendance at career fairs for recruiting
Develop working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting
Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates
Act as a liaison for permanent and temporary labor vendors used across the 30+ locations
Provide monthly status of open positions and monthly highlights
Handle immigration paperwork for candidates on a visa status
Facilitate the New Hire Orientation program
Facilitate training sessions related to the hiring process
Perform other duties assigned
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Required
Minimum 8 years experience in dedicated Corporate Recruiting or Agency Recruiting Required
Relevant Technical/Industry Experience Required

Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools including proactive phone and internet research.
Advanced knowledge of the professional search process, recruiting process, the non-exempt, and temporary staffing industry, and employment law
Fluent in G-Suite and MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Advanced proficiency in ATS systems
Consideration will be given based on geography, candidate experience, and qualifications.
Annual Salary Range: 90,000-115,000
