What you will be doing: Directly supervises the centers standards officer and clerk. Responsible for the operation of the centers standards function, which includes the discipline and behavioral adjustment system, incentive and management of significant incidents.

Essential functions:

• Provide overall supervision for center standards through effective planning, staff scheduling and student participation in establishment of rules.

• Evaluate staff performance, provide staff training and implement personnel changes as approved by the center director and coordinated with HR

• Develop and monitor departmental budget, control expenditures, review and recommend changes to budget authorizations

• Develop and implement new and revised policies and procedures affecting student standards of conduct; coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with overall center objectives

• Determine and administer disciplinary action for students who have violated student standard of conduct; counsel students when their behavior on and off center is inappropriate

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and three years related experience.

• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
