Cassia has an exciting job opportunity to work as the Vice President of Clinical Services based at our Home Office in Edina, MN! The Vice President of Clinical Services will lead and mentor the Cassia Home Office clinical team and nursing leadership, ensuring excellence in resident/patient care across communities. You will collaborate with various departments, oversee clinical policies, review grievances and analytics, support quality metrics and revenue integrity, and assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training, while also managing SNF services and making sure clinical procedures are in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Our ideal candidate has leadership experience as a VP over multiple sites including long-term care skilled nursing facilities, assisted livings, and adult day centers as well as having or in the process of getting a RN, BSN/MA/MSN is preferred.

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Hybrid from our Edina, MN office.

VP of Clinical Services Responsibilities:

• Leads, coaches and develops the Cassia Home Office clinical team and Cassia nursing leadership

• Directs resident/patient care excellence across Cassia communities

• Effectively partners with hospitals, therapy, pharmacy, hospice and other relationships

• Works with the marketing/sales/liaison teams assist with admissions and new clinical competencies

• Leads the review and response of EHR Analytics

• Reviews and responds to grievances, vulnerable adult/occurrence issues effectively

• Collaborates with and supports the Regional Dir of Quality metrics for QI/QM/PIPP/QIIP review and response

• Assists with developing, reviewing clinical policies and procedures, ensuring consistent clinical practice across Cassia (within Federal/State guidelines)

• Supports Clinical SNF and AL Reimbursement Directors, revenue integrity and expense management

• Leads SNF Clinical services team

• Guides, mentors and assists Lead Regional Dir of AL/AD clinical services for the AL and AD Clinical services team

• Reviews requests for resident records

• Works with Medical consultant and coordinates Medical Dir Meeting

• Participates in nurse recruitment, selection and nurse retention

• Organizes, participates in Board of Directors Quality Committee

• Supports and assists with clinical on-boarding, orientation and ongoing training

• Supports and assists with increased technology to benefit patient care

• Perform additional tasks as required

  VP of Clinical Services Skills and Requirements:

• VP level leadership, multi-site clinical oversight for long-term care SNF, AL, AD

• RN, BSN/MA/MSN preferred (or in process)

• Enjoys participating in a multi-disciplinary team

• Is proficient with MS applications, EHRs

• Innovative, positive, collaborative

• Collaborates and communicates effectively across the organization

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Develops and maintains professional memberships

• Able to travel overnight across states
