This position is responsible for the management and coordination for the procurement and sourcing of Telecom/Fiber Provider supplies, sub-assemblies, services, equipment and key commodities with delivery and quality requirements in a cost competitive environment. Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate for best pricing and terms. Performs job duties consistent within safety, legal, and regulatory requirements; company standards, culture and business practices. Acts with the highest level of business and personal ethical standards in all aspects of job performance. A successful Strategic Sourcing Analyst should be proficient in analyzing data, negotiating contracts, and fostering strong relationships with key suppliers. Responsibilities Collaborate with management to develop purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, overseeing the procurement process, and managing RF(X) processes. Analyze Spending Patterns: Evaluate the company's spending to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement Sourcing Plans: Implement strategic sourcing plans to enhance supply chain operations. Evaluate Suppliers: Assess suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, service, and delivery speeds. Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and pricing. Monitor Performance: Track and report on the performance and efficiency of supply chains. Maintain Supplier Information: Keep supplier information up-to-date in procurement databases. Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of sourcing strategies. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of market trends and advancements in sourcing practices. Risk Management: Assist in risk management for supply contracts and agreements. Resolve Disputes: Facilitate communication and resolve disputes between the company and its suppliers. Analyze and compare quotations to make informed sourcing decisions. Must be able to maintain accurate files and records and assists with other projects as needed. Collaborate with team on Source to Pay and Procurement transformation initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience is procurement, sourcing or supply chain. Preferred certifications such as CPSM or similar. Self-starter with strong verbal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Purchasing/AP/Inventory Knowledge of Business Intelligence platforms Excellent project management experience skills Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Skilled at vendor negotiations Ability to work with a team Required Education & Experience: Associate Degree or equivalent experience with three years of relevant experience in the field of purchasing and inventory control in a service or industrial environment.
