Fairview Health Services Director of Nursing - RN in Edina, Minnesota

Are you an enthusiastic leader with a passion for enriching lives? Join our 5-star Transitional Care Unit (TCU) as our next Director of Nursing at Aurora on France TCU! This Nursing Leadership position will lead the operations of the nursing departments and work to integrate nursing functions with other departments to ensure a team approach to the comprehensive care of transitional care unit residents that is consistent with the Ebenezer philosophy.

Aurora on France TCU is an innovative, fast-paced, high-quality care facility conveniently located in Edina, MN and connected to M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital. • Ensures the quality and clinical compliance of nursing care for residents

• Plans, develops and advises new and enhanced health care programs

• Leads the operations of the nursing department

• Provides ongoing leadership and oversite of the nursing department

• Assists with hiring and training

• Adheres to budget and supports a marketing plan sought at full occupancy

• Supports relationships between nursing and medical staff

Required:

• Current MN RN licensure

• Current CPR certification

• One to three years of experience including experience in Transitional Care

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff.

• Dedication to patient-centered care and a genuine passion for serving seniors with dignity and respect.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree: BSN

• Preference given to those with Certified Gerontological Nursing license.

• Three to five years previous experience including: Transitional Care, LTC and supervisory experience, Medicare and MN Case Mix Reimbursement preferred.

• Strong Knowledge with a Large Health System

• Working and Building Community in a Fast-Paced Team
