Positions in this function are responsible for the successful program design, compliance with network and pricing requirements, network assessment and selection, and program/technology product implementation. This includes consulting with business users and technology specialists to define business processes to deliver high quality system solutions for our operational functions. May perform network analysis and strategy development and implementation. Obtains data, verifies validity of data, and analyzes data as required. Analyzes network availability and access. May make recommendations regarding use, expansion, selection of networks for various products based on that analysis. Roles may support both current system improvements and maintenance along with new system development.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Retail Network Operations Analysts that support setup and maintenance of OptumRx’s retail pharmacy networks.
Oversee the setup up and maintenance of OptumRx’s Retail Pharmacy Network
Predict emerging client needs and develop innovative solutions to meet them
Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business operations
Perform network analysis and strategy development and implementation
Obtain, validate, and analyze data as you analyze network availability and access
Direct cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams
Interprets client contracts including financial and general terms
Works in large datasets including to pull and synthesize data
Reviews the work of others and ensures quality of the Retail Network Operations team
Review, create and/or maintain workflows, job aids, trainings and employee resources to ensure operational efficient across team.

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with a PBM
1+ years of experience as an Analyst within Healthcare
Experience with RxClaim
Experience with advanced communication skills, written and verbal
Intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with leading cross-functional operational teams
Experience with interacting effectively with different business departments, team members, and external clients at all levels
Experience with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive results
Desire to make an impact, manage multiple tasks, and shift priorities quickly

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
