JOB TITLE: Software Developer LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.) DUTIES: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Duties include: Represent the customer s business requirements by methodically testing enhancements and defect resolutions to ensure they match the documented requirements for such enhancements as documented in the Acceptance Criteria (AC); Manage manual system test scripts; Advocate for the overall quality of the application by being a champion of the end-user and seeking to improve development and testing processes to deliver a higher-quality product to the customer; Partner with Product Owner and at times with Capability Managers; Attend daily scrum calls; Participate in scrum refinement calls; Check if acceptance criteria is testable; Design, develop, and modify highly specialized computer applications to drive user efficiency and overall business success; Ensure applications meet demanding standards for privacy and security as required by strict internal policies and industry-specific regulations; Create efficient, high performance enhancements to these applications, enhancements that address and achieve specific customer goals; Design, develop, and implement new technology features that build on existing functionality, including but not limited to integrating with new technology; Ensure compliance with software development life cycle protocols and ensure project priorities are recorded and satisfied according to those protocols, raising any risk factors to the appropriate project management team; and Constantly improve functionality, reliability, testability, availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency of applications. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following: Quality Assurance; Performing requirement evaluation; Test case/script creation and Test case execution; Scrum Team process; Release night validation; Agile software development process; RALLY; Manager User Acceptance Testing, Execute Functional and Regression Testing in multiple environments, and Execute Regression Testing in multiple environments; Create and communicate Testing plans; and Coordinate ACCEL-Q automation testing.
