EMPLOYER: Optum Services, Inc. JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.) DUTIES: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Duties include: Risk analysis for parallel features being developed and merge planning; Bring new idea to improve technical aspects of mobile applications along work with proof of concept; Understand business requirements and converging them with technical requirements; Prepare the functional design documents, technical design documents and sharing with team; Participate in gathering business requirements, analysis, design, development and co-ordinate with testing; Ensure development has been completed as per business requirements, and make sure functionality has been achieved based on the company standard, and design principles; Design and develop software for health and health care mobile applications in Android and iOS; Design and develop software mobile applications that run on Android and iOS devices; Develop software; Develop Android applications in a concurrent multithreading system; Design and develop software components; and Develop and maintain unit tests for mobile apps and develop software using source code control such as GitHub or equivalent. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following: Mobile application development on Android platform; Java programming and Typescript programming; Coding experience on Android OS or SDK using Android Studio; Programming in a multithreading system; and Unit testing and maintenance for mobile apps.
