Position Summary: The Inside Sales Specialist pursues and develops prospects, advancing opportunities through the sales process. Works closely with Account Managers, customer service, and other sales support resources, as needed, to effectively support pre-sales and after-sales activities. Major Areas of Accountability: Proactively prospects potential customers of electric vehicle battery chargers to determine interest level Discovers specific customer requirements by assessing the business situation and technical requirements for each opportunity. Generates proposals/quotations, independently or with the assistance of other sales functions, in accordance with standard procedures and pricing guidelines. Develops consensus with customers on PTI value proposition(s) prior to solution building. Ensures proposal meets customer needs and clearly presents PTI's value proposition. Educates customers on product use and factors such as configuration, quantity, and performance, and determines/recommends what products will best serve the customers' needs Promptly follows up on sales leads through calls or emails to qualify the opportunity Provides customer technical support, quote preparation, pipeline development and maintenance, and support in closing orders. Professionally and accurately responds to customer inquiries regarding product availability, product pricing and product use. Follows up on all written communications (mail, fax, email) to ensure that customer needs were met, and to assess interest and impact. Uses CRM on a daily basis for all lead, contact, activity, forecasting, account management and time management monitoring, recording and reporting functions. Other duties as assigned.
