American Phoenix Inc. (API) is an experienced custom rubber mixer, founded in 1992 with the purchase from Michelin of its mixing equipment situated in the former Uniroyal Tire plant, located in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Now operating one of the largest single location custom rubber mixing facilities in America, we are a major supplier of rubber compounds, meeting exact customer specifications for premier manufactures in multiple industries.

Starting Pay: $20.00 + $1.50 Shift Differential for 2nd shift
Hours: 3pm - 11pm Monday - Friday
Basic Job Duties:
• Physically load raw materials on the weigh up belt
• Read and follow recipe for material to weigh up
• Ensure correct materials are being used
• Daily cleaning of work area
• Properly identify all left-over raw materials
• Assist cleaning the gate on Banbury mixer
• Basic wig wag operator duties
• Operate a wig wag machine to weigh and stack rubber
• Mark and package product according to customer specs
• Cut samples of product according to customer specs
• Inspect rubber for foreign material
• Daily work area cleaning
