Responsibilities
Facilities Services is eager to add a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be a member of an agile team responsible for 24/7 comprehensive management of the environment of care and life safety systems within the downtown Luther Campus. Candidates can expect to interact with high-pressure steam, chillers, fire alarm systems, and medical gas systems. In addition, this position performs duties as assigned, and with minimum supervision of the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, in the areas of equipment and system maintenance, general maintenance and grounds. Employee is expected to coordinate with supervisor to complete yearly department specific checklist. All new employees undergo a 12-week department orientation at time of hire, to ensure basic knowledge and building navigation.
Mayo Clinic Health System's Luther Campus is a 304-bed acute care hospital providing Eau Claire and the surrounding community with a number of medical specialties, ranging from comprehensive cardiac and trauma care to a family-oriented maternity program with an intensive care nursery.
Qualifications
• High school diploma required
• Associates Degree in industrial technology related fields (preferred) or equivalent work experience required.
• Driver’s license
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction drawings.
• Safe power hand tool operation knowledge
Facilities maintenance experience, healthcare facility preferred. Valid Wisconsin driver's license.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.; $23.48 - $34.10 / hour
