Description GENERAL DUTIES: 1. Be responsible for the spiritual welfare of the all camp staff and campers for each program. 2. Attend and participate in evening programs and spiritual activities. 3. Maintain a standard of cleanliness in personal grooming and in living quarters. 4. Assist with the clean-up of the total camp at the end of each session and at the conclusion of the summer. 5. Prepare and deliver the Christain Education Director camp brief at the end of the summer. 6. Assist with evening cabin supervision 7. Any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Camp Administrator. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Safety and Supervision 1. Enforce camp policies and procedures 2. Maintain the utmost level of safety for staff and campers at all times. 3. Ensure compliance with American Camping Association standards of safety and programmatic conduct at all times. 4. Coordinate and implement all program components relative to the daily schedule in a timely fashion. Weekly Responsibilities 1. Develop and implement daily chapels, for campers of varying ages. These chapels will look similar for each program. 2. Work with the Assistant Camp Director and the three camp Program Directors to develop and implement the weekly schedule of chapel services for the three camp programs. 3. Work with the Divisional Youth Secretary in planning the weekly worship times and camp chapels. 4. Work with the Divisional Youth Secretary to develop a daily Spiritual Mission for each cabin for the Timberlake program and each team for the Day Camp program. 5. Assist counselors in planning devotions for their campers. 6. Spend one night a week at the Tahoma campfire program lending aid. 7. Develop and implement a weekly vespers campfire for the Timberlake Program. 8. Assist the Divisional Youth Secretary with spiritual counseling by notifying him/her of any special needs. 9. Assist the Divisional Youth Secretary with coordinating the music for worship services. 10. Assist in the planning and implementation of weekly staff devotions. Including a weekly late night staff devotion time. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. 2. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects and reach overhead. 3. Ability to operate telephone. 4. Ability to operate a desktop or laptop computer. 5. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. 6. Ability to access and produce information from a computer. 7. Ability to understand written information.
