Job Description:

The Workforce Coordinator (WC) acts as the main sourcing function of their assigned client portfolio. The WC will work diligently to build engaged talent pools as well as work collaboratively with Workforce Specialists to identify, attract, interview, and place top talent for heir client groups.

The WC will be responsible for generating candidates across all of the services that the client provides including Fieldstaff and Direct Hires. Finally, the WC will be responsible for the administration of services and ensuring data entry is accurate and audited regularly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Candidate Attraction and Sourcing (65%)

  • Source and preliminarily screen candidates for open client job requirements across all the client service offerings (temporary, temp-to-hire, perm placement, insourced.)

  • Build warm and active candidate pipelines within the industry focus of their assigned client group

  • Coordinate with both the client and payroll/benefits functions to facilitate effective new hire onboarding

  • The main driver of all sourcing efforts within their assigned client group

  • Manage a high volume (40+) of open client requirements in conjunction with Workforce Specialists

  • Maintain and exceed required KPI's including (but not limited to), number of interviews, candidate pipeline size, etc.

Administration (20%)

  • Support divisional administration of technologies and processes

  • Audit and review data reliability and completeness within the assigned client group

  • Schedule interviews for Workforce Specialists for open client requirements

  • Adhere to Operational Service Standards

  • Provides periodic backup to the client Concierge

Business Development (15%)

  • Seek opportunities to generate new business leads by identifying company/prospect hiring needs

  • Delivers the client value proposition during candidate reference checks as opportunity is presented

  • Partner with Manager to execute a variety of business development activities such as prospecting, email marketing, and prospect list calling

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource or any related course.

  • 4+ years of experience in customer service, staff management, HR, or recruiting.

  • Past experience supporting or handling a fast-paced, high-volume workload in roles such as the following:

  • Project Managers

  • Accountants

  • H&S and Sustainability

  • HR

  • Geologists

  • Engineers

  • Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word)

  • Basic CRM software knowledge

  • Accounting Software knowledge helpful

  • Proficiency on all the client Platforms and Software

  • Working knowledge of Provincial and Federal employment laws (ESA, Human Rights, etc.) is a plus.

  • Experience working with US or Canadian clients is a must.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
