DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position gives you the opportunity to supervise, manage, and direct activities in a state-owned Fine Wine & Good Spirits store. You will be responsible for supervising a shift; participating in a variety of sales activities including receiving shipments, stocking products; and providing excellent service to all customers in a clean and safe store environment. Throughout operations, you will assign and inspect the work of Liquor Store employees and instruct employees in the proper application of policies and procedures. You will also assist General Managers in their role of being accountable for the entire store operation which includes sales, store maintenance, merchandise and cash accounting, maintenance of records, and all related functions.
Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly. Work hours vary from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, Sunday- Saturday. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A; or Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2; or Two years of lead retail sales work.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
