Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist. This role is primarily focused on the healthcare industry and is located Lehigh Valley PA area. The work will be conducted remotely, and the successful candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks related to medical billing.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and generating reports using Excel.

• Managing multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of organization and attention to detail.

• Regularly communicating with insurance companies to follow up on claims and denials.

• Ensuring the coordination of benefits and checking eligibility.

• Utilizing technology and clearinghouse experience to perform tasks efficiently.

• Proactively chasing payments and ensuring cash is applied to the correct accounts.

• Setting up appointments as required.

• Conducting research and resubmitting claims when necessary.

• Handling Accounts Receivable (AR), Appeals, Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, and Claim Administration.

• Using Epaces and knowledge of Health Insurance to perform tasks effectively.

Requirements • Proficiency in Epaces for accurate and efficient medical billing.

• Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure timely payment collection.

• Experience in handling Appeals to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions for accurate billing and claim management.

• Familiarity with Billing Functions to ensure accurate invoicing and payment collection.

• Expertise in Claim Administration for efficient handling of insurance claims.

• Comprehensive understanding of Health Insurance to effectively manage patient billing.
