Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Easthampton, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Easthampton, Massachusetts. This role is centered in the administrative industry, with a focus on maintaining and organizing files, as well as other administrative tasks. The workplace is a standard office setting, operating from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

• Administration and organization of customer files, both digitally and physically

• Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of customer data processing

• Attending to customer inquiries and resolving them in a timely manner

• Implementing filing systems for effective record-keeping

• Monitoring and updating customer accounts as necessary

• Utilizing strong organizational skills to maintain orderly workplace

• Demonstrating strong attention to detail in all administrative tasks

• Providing administrative support to other team members as required

• Assisting in the preparation and processing of various reports

• Maintaining high standards of confidentiality with all administrative and customer records. Requirements • Proficiency in filing and organizing documents in both physical and digital formats.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Excellent time management skills to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.

• Proficient in using office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.

• Knowledge of office software like MS Office Suite for creating reports and presentations.

• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tasks such as data entry and document preparation.

• Basic mathematical skills for tasks like budgeting or expense tracking.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills to handle any issues that may arise during daily operations.

• Good customer service skills for handling queries from clients or customers.

• Experience in an administrative role would be advantageous.

• Understanding of office management procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Higher education in a relevant field is a plus.
