Description
Our client, a rapidly growing company is in search of a Controller to join our team in eastern Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Operating within a construction related industry, you will be entrusted with the task of overseeing financial reporting, managing financial requirements for stakeholders, and supporting the CFO with financial analysis and audit preparation.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the consolidation of financial reporting across subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to GAAP.
• Play a crucial role in the integration of M& A, focusing particularly on finance and accounting functions.
• Handle the financial reporting needs of debt and equity investors.
• Prepare comprehensive financial updates for senior executives to aid important financial decisions.
• Lead the preparation and completion of audits under the guidance of the CFO.
• Support the CFO in preparing financial analysis for board meetings and presentations.
• Develop, oversee, and support accounting teams across various subsidiaries.
• Establish and enforce accounting policies and procedures across all subsidiaries, ensuring a strong internal control system.
• Assist the CFO in managing cash flow, formulating policies and procedures to ensure the company has sufficient working capital.
• Develop and implement internal controls for accounting staff.
Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably as a Controller
• Proficient in Accounting Functions, including but not limited to preparing financial statements, maintaining balance sheets and income statements
• Extensive experience in Auditing, including internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Budget Processes, including planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Proven experience in Acquisitions, including due diligence processes, financial modeling, and integration
• Familiarity with Consolidations, including the consolidation of financial statements, intercompany transactions, and elimination entries
• Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial management and reporting
• Experience in Construction Accounting, including job costing, contract accounting, and percentage of completion accounting
