Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Assistant Controller in western, Wisconsin. This role is within the manufacturing industry and will involve overseeing day-to-day accounting and reporting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll

• Handle the reporting of cash flow on a regular basis

• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of month end close activities

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all financial transactions

• Address and resolve any queries related to customer accounts

• Utilize accounting software such as IQMS and QuickBooks for efficient financial management

• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role is required

• Strong knowledge and experience with IQMS software a plus

• Expertise in using QuickBooks for financial management

• Extensive experience in Month End Close processes
