Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure that pharmaceutical formulation facilities are mechanically functioning according to company standards. Apply mechanical engineering principles. Study plans and specifications, calculate time requirements, sequence project elements, monitor project progress, coordinate activities, resolve problems, and drive projects forwards. Monitor compliance with the project schedule during execution and propose ways to improve production schedule performance. Coordinate and manage complex projects which require coordinating with the consultants and contractors on a day-to-day basis for monitoring, directing, and driving project progress. Review change order proposals against the contractual and technical requirements, for quality and completeness and assist with the timely processing of change order proposals, which may include approvals, and requests for additional information or rejections. Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline, plus five years of progressive experience as Engineering Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or other Engineering position required. Experience in working in pharmaceutical formulation facilities including project management, operation and maintenance of injectable, tablet, and capsule manufacturing required. Must have knowledge of OSHA/ANSI guidelines. Annual Wage: $111,779. Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Jobsite: East Windsor, New Jersey.
