Job Description:

We are seeking a Expediting & Quoting Associate for our HVAC Aftermarket Parts business. You will join a small group of team members dedicated to handling all order emergencies from distributors, field offices, and contractors around the world who have customers such as hospitals, production plants, nursing homes, schools and residences by working with suppliers and internal plants for quickest solutions.

We must react quickly and provide immediate responses when our customers have HVAC equipment has that has failed due to natural disasters, unplanned outages, or other unforeseen circumstances. This is a fast paced, high-volume job and we are seeking a high energy, self-motivated individual that can work with both suppliers and customers to increase sales on quoted parts and promptly addressing customer expedite requests.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Expediting:

  • Assist team with providing exceptional customer support on expedites for Replacement Component customers, including distributors, contractors, International customers and all internal customers.

  • Provide superior follow up to customers (internal and external, sales managers, and upper management on all expedites).

  • Manage expedites via SalesForce and internal systems.

  • Communicate effectively with suppliers or internal plants as well as RC warehouse via email or telephone.

  • Collaborate closely with Materials, Purchasing and Engineering groups and other internal departments to resolve all customer needs/inquiries.

  • Develop and maintain close business relationship with RC warehouse

  • Escalate time-critical issues quickly

  • Administration and maintenance of Key Customer Reports & Expedite Reviews as required

  • Administration and maintenance of Expedite Aging Report to support queue resolution for instances of invoiced & canceled Sales Orders; Inventory in Excess of Customer Commits; and cross functional case resolution for newly inactive parts.

  • Programmable Control Board Case Queue management and maintenance via model, serial, and part number validation.

    Quoting:

  • Work with technical support and / or product managers to identify parts or alternatives, along with identifying source selection process improvement opportunities.

  • Partner with customers to understand the competitive situation in order to most appropriately quote to increase probability of an order.

  • Complete quote requests and follow-up in timely manner to support increased response velocity and quote closure volumes.

  • Review margin rates on quotes to ensure optimum price points by market and make recommendations for gross margin ranges in standard work.

    Requirements:

  • 2 + years' work experience in business, marketing, engineering or a related discipline.
