Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team based in EAST SYRACUSE, New York. This role is crucial to our financial operations, involving responsibilities such as processing accounting checks, managing deposits, and utilizing software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks. This position offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounting checks efficiently and accurately

• Manage deposits in line with company procedures

• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain records and perform data entry tasks

• Operate QuickBooks to manage financial transactions and reports

• Execute account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties

• Manage billing processes and invoice processing

• Utilize Oracle and SAP for various accounting functions

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all job functions. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing processes and procedures

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle software

• Experience in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks

• Proficiency in SAP software

• Basic understanding of general accounting principles and financial regulations

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk role would be beneficial.
