Our client in East Setauket, NY is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. Pay is $75,000 to $100,000 based on experience. Requirements are: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. Certification in contract management (e.g., Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)) a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration with a focus on commercial and government contracts. Knowledge of ITAR regulations. Thorough knowledge of contract administration principles, industry practices, regulations and policies. strong knowledge of government contract law, FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an MRP system. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Responsibilities

The Senior Contracts Administrator will review contracts, monitor compliance with contractual obligations, manage complex proposals and finalize a variety of government and commercial contracts. Ensure government contracts comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable regulations. Participate in the contract lifecycle from initiation to execution and renewal or termination. Identify and mitigate contractual risks by reviewing terms and conditions and ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies. Work closely with internal departments to gather necessary information and ensure contract terms meet business needs. Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the contract process. Play a key role in meetings with customers and internal departments. Ensure all contracts are stored and maintained in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Monitor and track contract performance and compliance, including key dates, obligations, and deliverables. Prepare reports and summaries on contract status and performance for senior management. Develop and implement best practices for contract management processes and procedures specific to government contracts. May supervise or guide work to junior employees.
