Avamere Health Services, LLC Reception/Admissions Coordinator - PT/Friday-Sunday in East Port Orchard, Washington
Description This is a weekend position that requires working Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The purpose of this position is to support the Admissions Department with handling of referrals and admissions to our skilled nursing facility. To ensure that each admissions experience is positive, professional, and efficient. Duties include patient check in, insurance verification, medical record creation, collecting and updating patient demographic and financial information, answering incoming phone calls and greeting visitors to the facility. Requirements Required Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent experience. Experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant. Experience in a medical setting is a plus. Preferred: Experience with verifying insurance, Medicare and Medicaid Multi-line phone experience Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite Avamere Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer
