Kitsap County Fiscal Support Technician - Public Works Payroll in East Port Orchard, Washington
Position Information Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, this position performs a variety of accounting/financial support activities which apply complex regulations with numerous deadlines for the Payroll section of Public Works. Work may involve access to confidential information.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Required Education and Experience:
- One (1) year of experience processing and auditing timecard records, payroll or related experience and
- Utilizing MS Office Suite, specifically excel; and
- Financial system software, preferably Workday; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education that would demonstrate the individual's knowledge, skills and ability to perform the work.
Preferred Education, Experience or Other Qualifications:
- Experience using Workday.
- Three years of fiscal/payroll auditing experience.
- Associates Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience working for a government agency.
- Experience working and complying with Collective Bargaining Contracts for payroll processing.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $46,696.00 - $65,998.40. This position offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a pension retirement, and other voluntary benefits.
